My daughter is a spitting image of her father. She is 99% the physical version of him. Their baby pictures are freakishly the same. Their expressions, smile, teeth, eyes, skin tone, hair…everything is identical. BUT…she has my knuckly hands & my feet. :) We both have the weirdest toes & a pinky toe that my family calls the “Minnig toe” which comes all the way from the Swiss Alps. My great-grandmother passed our silly toe all the way through our family & miss caroline has got it too. Luckily, I know just how to work toe nail polish into it’s nearly non existant nail, so I’ve got her covered. :) Her sweet toes. & these sweet shoes. I love this.

Shoes are Robeez–and are usually her first choice–from Grammy via Nordstrom, found here, since I know you will ask! You first saw them brand spankin new here. Not so new anymore & on their last days of wear! :( They got a LOT of love!

amy - That is So SO SO OK :)

I have “memory clothes” for my boys and there is NO way I will get rid of some of those things ever. ever. ever. There are still some clothes I wish I had kept of my own from back when…there will always be room for memory clothes :)

Chelsea McCown - awww, love it!! We must have been channeling one another, mine is along the same theme this week :) It’s absolutely wonderful to keep things. I pack it all away, just hoping someday I get to pull it out again :/

Stacy - OMG you guys have the same feet as my whole family! Mine (and both my girls) pinky toes slightly curve in just like that, and all 3 of us barely have a pinky toenail…you pretty much just have to paint the skin…I have never seen anyone else with it, thats funny!

Katie Clay - So sweet! And Meghan, I love that idea so much. Thanks for sharing!

meghan - Oh, and as I add to it, I go through it because it’s a fun walk down memory lane. I also find as time goes by, I’m not AS sentimental about certain things and take them out – sometimes I think almost 3 years later, the hormones are still wearing off. Someday when they have kids of their own, I’ll give them their tubs.

meghan - I allow myself one maybe 25 gallon rubbermaid container per kid. I keep special outfits like what they came home in, ones that just scream their personality, ones that were passed down from daddy or other family, or ones they wore a lot and I just associate them with being that size, but that’s about it. Also, as they get older clothes get more worn and I just don’t feel as sentimental about them. Again, I love Fridays (and it’s mostly because I start them out with a latte and your pictures – thanks for posting in the AM).
