I am BACK! I know, it has been an embarrassingly long time since I last posted. I have been so busy getting all my little duckies in a row and they are finding their place in line nicely!
I spent the last weekend in Dallas at my much anticipated Secret Workshop, which lived up to every single bit of its hype. I am walking away feeling inspired and with more photoshop knowledge than I know what to do with. Well, that is a lie. Those of you who have shoots yet to be edited are in for some treats! I’ve got all kinds of tricks up my sleeves now! I was able to learn from the phenomenally talented Cheryl Muhr & Amy Smith. Not only do they both have flourishing businesses, but they are dedicated moms and it is always refreshing to be told over & over again that this CAN be done post children. Both of them started after their kiddos were around. So, maybe I am not so incredibly crazy to have started a business WHILE I WAS PREGNANT. Yes. I am one motivated mama.
I wanted to share with you my recent set of newborn announcements, which are far prettier in person than on the screen. We chose to print them on a pearl paper (shimmery & glowy), which turned out creamy & beautiful. They were the perfect announcement of a little girl coming from a family of boys! Julie, thanks for letting me into your home just five days after bringing Miss Blake into this world! She is beautiful & I cannot wait to continue to watch her grow! And I also want to thank you for your patience…Blake’s session was my very first newborn shoot! It was then, I fell in love.
