That is my very precious chunk of the day when everyone is sleeping & I...  I. LOVE. CHRISTMAS. Last night’s episode of Glee was pretty much heaven for me. I love the music. the smells. the preparation. the food. the crafts. the decorations. the joy. & this year I am discovering a whole new side of Christmas. No longer is it joyful just for me…this year I get to watch...  It was somewhere along lonely I-29 on my 300 mile weekly commute from Omaha to South Dakota that I made the decision. I had a great year selling Mirena & earned a bunch of points to use in the Bayer store to buy something nice. After a bit of coaxing from my sister-in law, I...  Last week…my mind was empty. This week, I could write a book. So goes it in the world of shawna…ha! I rarely ever have pictures of me shooting. I love to see other photographers at their craft, so I thought I would post this. My friend Lauren took it for me, sneaky sneaky! Thanks, Lauren!...  My goals this Halloween were to (a) not have my girl get heat stroke in her costume & (b) nail my images in camera so I had to edit as little as possible so I could (c) get all the Halloween pictures done that night. She does have my hands, feet and glowing personality [ha] but everything else, is all her dad. & I love that. What I think is really neat is how much all the cousins resemble each other. There is absolutely no doubt that they are related....  Joy. Bliss. Emotion. That was her dream session. She wanted her family captured in the moment.
