Category Archives: holidays & seasons …don’t believe me? Well. The last few days have included: moving the girlie to the toddler bed. {yawn} With the real big girl bed on the way & this cuteness in my laundry. making this. and LOTS of this. wanting to make these. eating too many of these. (even more heavenly straight outta the freezer)...  My little girlie is becoming quite the queen of helping. Every single time I get busy in the kitchen I hear one of two things: either her working in her own kitchen OR the sound of that wooden chair getting dragged across the tile & little squeals of: It’s so FUN! I love having her...  OOOf. What a week. She got sick. I got sick. No one was sleeping. All we wanted to do was sleep. It has not been fun. But, we’re all still alive. & that is called success in my book! I have photographed my Mother’s Day & Father’s Day gifts the last couple of years but...  Wishing all the daddies a happy day with their babes! :) & this year’s project was a continuation of last year’s project…but it was a lot tougher this year… because almost two is a lot less cooperative than almost one… my how fast they grow!! :) more to come this week on both DIY mother’s...  Sometimes…I sit & am thankful for this blog because it forces me to have a timeline for my projects. Holidays sure sneak up on me. This is no exception. Somehow, carroline did not wind up with an Easter basket of her own last year, so this year I decided to fix that. I wanted something...  Today, when I needed to smile the most, I got mail. Not just any mail, Studio Mela mail. & it is perfect. Despite having the most emotionally taxing weekend of my life, I smiled. This is not a week that I am ever going to want to remember, but at least I can remember that...  Oh. Heavens. Thank you all for the kind comments, messages & emails. I am surrounded by some of the most wonderful women & I am so grateful to have you all in my life. Thank you for reading my blog & supporting me. We are not alone on this crazy journey…& I hope you know...  I am amazed at how much can be accomplished when I give myself the freedom to NOT be glued to the internet. After reading this (which I HIGHLY recommend taking the time to peruse!!) I was reminded that I needed to rest my typing fingers & start using my hands. I have started & finished...
