Fall. ish. | San Antonio Baby Photographer

I found one tree. ONE tree…that made it look like fall here in South Texas. It didn’t feel like fall, but that one crimson beauty just made my day. I spotted it on my way to Target to go grocery shopping this morning & I knew we had to go back. So I grabbed a bag of apples (cause they matched and seemed fall-ish) and us gals trekked across the open field for a few minutes for some fun autumn pictures. I was sweating by the time we got back to the car, but it was oh-so-worth it!

Oh, how I miss the colors and brisk air that signals winter is fast approaching…for now…all I can hope…is that we don’t have to run our a/c on Christmas like we did last year. :/

honestly. how can you not love a sassy girl in baby skinny jeans. o.m.g.

Seems like in the two weeks since my sweet caroline started walking, she has grown up before my eyes. She no longer looks like a baby. She looks like a little girl.

surprised the headband lasted as long as it did… :)

Hope your fall is a little cooler than mine! ;)

Lori - What field is this picture taken in? I don’t see too many in town. :)

Meghan - Shawna, I found a youtube tutorial and already have like 3 made, they seriously take 5 minutes and all you need to know is a chain, slip stitch and a double stitch. It’s a simple 5 petal, but now I know I can do a more complicated one. I’m now working on a scarf for Haley to add the flowers to, and once I’m done with that I think I’m on to a hat for her if I can figure it out. I have some acute ADD when it comes to projects so this’ll be perfect for me as I’ll finish it in a day.

-shawna- - thank you all for the love!!! :) @Katie–will do a headband post with all kinds of links this week! :) @Sara–I know. I know. If our next assignment is somewhere cold I cannot ever complain. ever. @Meghan–there are a ton of patterns in books. I attempted to teach myself unsuccessfully. but I have come to accept the fact that I am just NOT a knitter or crocheter! ;) I’ll pay you for them if you figure it out!!

Meghan - Wondering if there’s a tutorial on line on how to make a croched flower.

Sara - But your pictures are gorgeous as usual. I love the ‘skinny’ jeans and the cloth booty.

Sara - Someday, you’re going to get reassigned to Ft. Lewis and you are really going to regret complaining about warm sunshine in November. And I will Laugh and Laugh as you describe how sick you are of the rain that lasts from October through June.

Ashley - Those pictures are adorable! She is such a pretty little girl.

Emily - I seriously think you and I need to trade places. I don’t like seeing the colors change cause that means Winter is on it’s way, lol! My hubby and I just said last night how bad it sucks to HAVE to wear our jackets. Little Caroline is adorable with the apples. She is one happy girl!

Katie Clay - So adorable! Where oh where do you get these amazing headbands!?

Tori @ FIToriBLOG.com - I think it’s bordering on obsession how much I love her.
