Positivity…a Breath of Fresh Air | Etsy Art!

My internet holiday came to an end yesterday. It’s kind of nice to just walk away for a bit & take in real life. I love my internet life, but I love my off the computer life too. I did pop on every so often & when my nose wasn’t buried in the book I can’t put down, I spent some time hunting Etsy for some fun art. Everything I fall in love with seems to be from Etsy these days.

I am transforming our upstairs loft & bathroom into a very kid-friendly space & have been searching for just the right stuff to make it complete. I promised Moxii a bathroom makeover complete with the SUPER FUN shower curtain they sent my way & I promise not to disappoint. I have several DIY projects that are going on up there that take some time. I have also been looking for art that is “just right” and I am tickled to have found it. I am so in love with the positivity of this Etsy shop, Studio Mela. I could buy everything in her shop, but I am on a self imposed strict budget…you know…so my kiddo can go to college & I can stick to our never-have-a-monthly-car-payment goal. Awesome news for those of you like me–hurry up & check out the shop, because she is running a BOGO sale this week. Stock up! I plan to put these in big frames with white mats & hang them next to the mirror in the bathroom upstairs. Everyone loves a daily dose of happy. At least I do & I want my kids to also.

I bought these two:

I might go back & buy these two for my loft too. If I can figure out how to work them into my budget.

You can’t tell me these didn’t make you smile?!? ;)

Hi! Hello! I am Shawna, the founder of Styleberry Blog. This creative corner of the internet has become a learning haven for moms and creatives, offering a warm and encouraging nudge to those who wish to be better and do better, but often don't know where to start. From Decorating to DIY to Diapers and Paleo-ish Dishes, I strive to make the complicated simple and empower women to take action beyond their personal comfort zone. I subscribe to the Shine Theory & so strongly believe that we shine when the women around us shine and mutual support—lifting up instead of tearing down--will always be the culture here. Are you in? I hope so! Beyond the computer, I run Styleberry Creative where I work with clients to create low fuss, high function spaces that are pretty and practical in San Antonio, Texas and beyond. I LOVE making a house a home. My own studs out renovation is now complete and I am now back to working with clients. Please don't hesitate to drop me a line if you'd like to work together! I hope you’ll join me on this fun new adventure! Xo.
