Emily - Shawna–
Your Project 52 pics are so inspiring! I’ve been hesitant to share with you that I’m, too, doing the project because my pictures are far inferior to yours!! As someone who has owned her DSLR and Photoshop for about 8 months, I am learning to embrace the learning process, though! My link is http://somuchformyplans.blogspot.com. I have an eight month old and am using the project to document all the fun stages he goes through each week. I’m so happy that I’ve committed to this because it’s so fun to go back and look through all the images I’ve gotten so far! I’m planning on turning them into a Blurb book at the end of the year as a fun little reminder of how fast he grew up. Thank you for sharing your craft with the rest of us!!!

Shannon - I just found your blog and started laughing as soon as I read this post! My 21 mth old has decided she wants to start going potty on the big girl potty this past weekend as well. Honestly I was thrilled when my older daughter decided to potty train but now the 2nd time aruond I am not so excited. This morning my youngest wanted to sit on the potty forever and actually screamed when I tried to take her off, she never even went by the way. Nobody tells you that potty training is horrible but it is pretty tough and not so pretty ;) Even once you think you have finally accomplished it and your little one is potty trained there will be the out of the blue accidents or should I say panties down with pee all over the floor! Hang in there though and goodluck!!

Brandee - Hi Shawna. I have been loving your blog for a while now, so inspiring [thank you for that].

My little bean potty trained at 27 months with the 3day potty training method [an e-book you download, and which I re-read and re-read faithfully at night during the process]. I believe another reader gave you link. It was a great positive way to potty train. Overall, it took a month to be 100% trained [meaning no accidents since that time]. Potty training is one of those mommy tasks [challenges] that in the end is so rewarding. Best of luck and best wishes.

Heather - Hi Shawna,
We potty trained my Levi at 22 mos too! Look up the 3day potty training http://www.3daypottytraining.com/?PUV32208MG

It worked well…with some accidents. I liked that her method was all about getting your child to know their body.

Good Luck!

Brandii - Hi Shawna,
Can you switch my link from Princess Posh to Confessions of A Baby Shopaholic. The site url is http://babyshopaholics.com I switched to self hosting after that big fiasco with blogger. Thanks

morgan - I love this book idea! One page in my book would be motherhood is: troubleshooting. Tons of it. Trying to figure out the most productive, efficient way to go about each little aspect of my daughter’s life.

Tara S. - I used the Potty Boot Camp method of potty training when my daughter was 32 months old. I downloaded the e-book, went to Target to buy some “rewards” and within 7 hours I had potty trained my daughter. It was so much easier than I thought it was going to be, but she was also quite a bit older than your daughter. Best of luck to you!

Charlie - Ha-love that she’s reading and just kicking those little legs! Good luck-can’t wait to hear about all that is potty training!! :))))

amy - Good luck!! Hate those days sitting on the bathroom floor just waiting :)

I know girlies are earlier, but my boys haven’t gotten it until closer to 3….however, my niece is almost trained and she’s 18 months, so who knows???

The only thing that really helped me was the running around in underwear outside so they can yank the pants down and pee behind a bush at home during the summer…althought THAT is different for girlies too…ah well…

Congrats on the Creative Mama slot by the way! You go girl!

Brianna Krute - First of all, just found your blog yesterday and I am HOOKED! I am so inspired by your 52 challenge… I just got my first DSLR a week ago (the lovely rebel). I have no clue what I am doing, but I know I wouldn’t regret participating in this challenge! I love the idea of creating a coffee table book afterwards! How do you link it up?
Also, I potty trainined my son last year at exactly 24 months and it just took a week of a few accidents but was sooooo much easier than I had anticipated. What worked for him was just making a huge deal when he went (took almost an hour the first time he sat on the potty)… We danced, made up a song and called Daddy at work… and he loved it! Chocolate covered pomegranate seeds helped, also! Good luck and be patient!! (& THANK YOU for this awesome blog!)

Hey Brianna–thank you! The deal with the links is that you link me on your weekly posts on your blog & I will link you back! Easy peasy. Do it! You will certainly not regret it! Just leave me a comment (or link to me on your first post) & I’ll be sure to add you when you are up & running! :)
