My goals this Halloween were to (a) not have my girl get heat stroke in her costume & (b) nail my images in camera so I had to edit as little as possible so I could (c) get all the Halloween pictures done that night. Happy to report that all missions were accomplished! :)
My little girl has a thing for kitties right now, so this was so fitting! I added a BFB (or big ‘effin bow) to her kitty cat get-up & cut the feet off the way-too-small tights that came with the 24 month costume so she had less of a chance passing out from the heat. I added her little mousie shoes & we met my friend Lauren & her fam for a little photo op in an empty lot near our home. Considering Caroline started walking 2 days ago, it was a bit of a stumbly challenge, but I just love what I captured. I edited in RAW a teensy bit, then did nothing more than add a pop of color & sharpen. Evening light is just the most buttery, warm & glowy light available. Also have to report that I have finally mastered the wacom tablet & it makes everything go so so so fast! I highly recommend it!
& for those of you joining me on my personal project: [this much] I am aiming for the first week of each month, as Caroline’s birthday is the 8th…
