And boy, did I ever find one! I have been on a HUGE hunt for patio furniture and been sorely disappointed that patio furniture has been replaced by christmas trees in most of the stores I would usually shop for it. Come on, it’s just getting into patio season here in Texas as we see the eighty degree weather somewhere on the horizon! Online shopping came with a hefty shipping charge and I couldn’t sit in anything to test the comfort factor. The only place that i could still find furniture was at the Lackland AFB BXtra garden center. Last time I was there a week ago, nothing was on sale, but to my delight, I went back again for my weekly grocery trip, checked in & found all furniture marked 50% off! A set, that happened to be JUST what I was looking for was available, though only the floor model was left. I negotiated with the Air Force’s “nonnegotiable” prices and was able to get 60% off the set which means I got exactly what I wanted, for 1/5 the price I expected to pay! $200 for something listed at $1400 retail…SCORE! I have now scrubbed down & bleached everything so it is to my clean standards…now we can enjoy our patio just a little bit more! I hate the BX just a little bit less today. : ) I still would like some black & white damask pillows to spice it up…
