Oh, this boy. He’s way ahead of the game. Since he was little he’s been on this insane growth curve. He’s huge & his physical development is advanced. And well looky here. He’s sitting. Which began at 4 months + 1 week. I’m not ready for this! But we’ve been following his lead. Lord knows hes a good eater. He’s packing on the pounds & is crazy long. & has been in the exersaucer since his two month birthday. We’ve just listened. & look at him go!
& I’ve been listening too. I’m aching to get back to a good fitness routine. I’ve been so tired with the little man’s lack of sleep that I just couldn’t find the energy. But it’s time. Tired or not, my body just needs to stand a little taller. Get a little [lot] stronger. I’m ready, but I’m changing things up a bit. My old crossfit routine was getting boring, so I am back to my old tried & true Max Fitness. I love this book. It felt so good today. & ten years ago when I completed the book, I was in the best shape of my life. I’m four pounds from my pre-Everett weight–but I don’t care. I know I need that little belly pouch to make milk. I did with caroline; it’s no different now. But that doesn’t mean I can’t get stronger. So my goal is hit the garage three times a week & follow the sequential Max Fitness workouts. They are quick–running + pushing & pulling my own body weight. Something I really enjoy. So here’s to listening to the body! ;)
