The weather in South Texas is absolutely beautiful right now & this year’s wildflower show has been nothing short of spectacular! Following the bluebonnets, we got a mess of pink and now the yellow ones are abundantly blooming. What a perfect excuse to get outside!

I have been eyeing the 24-70mm L series lens for a long time. I was finally courageous enough to click “checkout” so my new toy arrived this week. However, it was not functioning properly, so back to B&H it went. Hopefully a new & perfect one will be arriving soon. I headed out to give it a test run & between tears and heat and my frustration with equipment that didn’t work, I managed to snag this little gem. Hope you are all having a beautiful week!
