…in the little things. I’ve spent time really looking at the world in search of the lovely things that often go unnoticed.
We’ve had a small streak of cold weather lately. Not cold enough for me to dust off a coat (it’s been three winters without a coat now :/ boo) but I did get to wear a scarf and a sweater. My hubby has started making my latte on weekend mornings…and while I first thought I was so lucky…he is the sweetest…omg, really?! for me??…the truth came out: “cranky shawna is my least favorite shawna and you are less cranky with coffee.” ok. I’ll shut my mouth and take it. No matter what the motive, a hot latte is a hot latte, right?
So of course, I reciprocate the kindness & make him his hot drink of choice: a hot cocoa. Every time I stir it & let it sit a minute, it gets the most beautiful multicolored bubbles. So there it is. The most colorful hot cocoa you have likely ever seen.
