I tried this recipe after reading the rave reviews on allrecipes.com. I have never tasted shortbread as good as this stuff! Not even any I have bought at a store or bakery! It was FANTASTIC! I made the recipe as described. Rolled out the dough and used cookie cutters. I ended up kneading for about 10 minutes to get all of the flour to stick. The thickest cookies were the best, and cook less time for softer cookies. Yummy!!! Use this recipe for your own Scottish Shortbread
