Are you a “listen if I have to” type of person? Or do you anxiously await this time of year?
I was getting my hair cut a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoying the christmas music that was bellowing through the salon. I told my stylist how much I enjoyed it and I didnt know quite what I was in for! Apparently Christmas music is NOT universally loved! Our conversation engaged several other stylists & clients around me and I was certainly the odd one out.
You mean most people do not start listening to Christmas music the day after halloween?!? WHAT?!?
You can call me crazy all you want but there is something so warm & comforting about the sounds of the season. In Omaha we had a terrestrial radio station that began broadcasting the carols on November 1st and it was AWESOME! We are now exclusively Sirius Satellite Radio listeners and now that they have merged with XM, their Christmas station has gone down hill compared to last year. They didn’t start until after Thanksgiving and I keep waiting for my favorite quirky song that Sirius introduced me to and they never play it. So, Sirius 81 Holly, get your act to together! I miss Dominick the Donkey! Brace yourselves for this one, you just might belly laugh! hee haw hee haw!
