What? You wanted to see more pictures of my girl on her birthday? OK. :D
Just in case you aren’t following me on Facebook & missed it, those little leggings are a super easy DIY project. Once Caroline started crawling, she got some nasty rug-burns from my less than stellar carpeting. I thought surely there had to be a good alternative to spending $14 on one pair of Baby Legs, since she was going through a couple pairs a day. I picked up a bunch of $2 socks at Target, cut off the feet and sewed them right up. I put the original elastic sock top up by her thigh, so the important end is the one that is factory made. These have been wonderful. Here is an iPhone snap of a few pairs I did. So easy! If you are not comfortable with a sewing machine, I would bet that iron on adhesive would be a decent no-sew alternative to fasten the bottom seam under. Plus, they come in the most festive patterns & I CANNOT WAIT to make holiday leggings!!!! (have I mentioned how much I love the holidays?!?) If the thought of doing it yourself really scares you, but you still want something inexpensive, try searching etsy. You will find a BUNCH there for very cheap.
They happen to look adorable with just a FuzziBunz diaper too, see!
