They say every photographer has their “thing.” The inner giddiness that keeps them coming back to their camera day after day, spending hours processing in photoshop & generally keeping their creative spirits up. Newborns are my “thing.” I love them. I can’t get enough of them. And my goodness, I had the opportunity to shoot THREE at the same time! How am I this blessed?!?
Many of you know that a friend of mine, Erinn, gave birth to triplets several months ago. (You may remember her from this post or this post.) I had so much fun digging through the raw files to find a few gems and man, are they cute little men! Now that editing her shoot is complete, I get to share her beautiful boys! I hope they make you smile!
Definitely the spirited one of the bunch this day, Cooper (smiling) kept trying to keep everyone awake! He was a tough little cookie, but when he smiles, your heart melts! I love how Lucas is hugging him…just too cute for words. It took a looooooong time and some reshuffling to get this shot but boy, was it worth it!
These were the TINIEST little baskets and all the boys slipped right in! Cooper’s daddy requested this shot because of the little toes!
I wanted to incorporate these blankets (from Erinn’s mom) that I saw her open at her shower because I thought that everyone who has been following their story should know right away who is who! Lucas was our challenge for this shot. Classic case of “swipe the paci & shoot fast!”
Oh, Noah! He was the itty bitty one of the bunch! He was PASSED OUT the entire time! Such a good little sport!
And the last shot of the day…oh my. Erinn really wanted to get all of their feet, so I positioned them into “art.” The boys were not as amused and it was the first time mama & dad had heard all their boys cry at the same time! Oh, they were screaming! Worth it though, poor little buggers! We promptly loved & fed them as soon as this was done…promise!
